We’re committed to making sure our income is used efficiently, effectively, and responsibly so that every pound counts. In 2023, 87% of our income went towards charitable activities. These include running our programmes in the UK and internationally, advocacy and awareness campaigns, and associated support costs.

In 2021 our movement reached 26.5 million children through our health and nutrition programming, 12.2 million children through our education programmes and 4.1 million through our child protection programmes.

Gift Aid is an arrangement that allows charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer, which means your donations will be worth 25% more to us at no extra cost to you!
Meaning an additional £12.50 could be added to a £50 donation!
It can only be claimed when the donor is a UK taxpayer and is donating from their own funds. If the donor pays less Income Tax and/ or Capital Gains Tax in that tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all their donations; it will be their responsibility to pay the difference.

At just 9 months old, severe malnutrition left Fatima too weak to stand. But with the determination and strength of her mum, she was able to get vital treatment and nutritious food from a Save the Children-supported health centre.
