Mothercare Group launched its partnership with us to commemorate its 50th birthday in 2011.
The group started fundraising activity around the globe to support both our UK fund programmes and our EVERY ONE global campaign for child survival.
From global to local
Our global presence enabled Mothercare Group to engage its sourcing offices in India, Hong Kong, China and Bangladesh, and fund targeted programmes such as a migrant worker health project in China and a health, and a hygiene and nutrition project in Rajasthan, India.
In the third year of the partnership, Mothercare supported our emergency appeals for children in Syria and those affected by a devastating typhoon in the Philippines.
Employees encouraged customers to participate in fundraising events in store, as well as taking on a number of personal and team-building fundraising challenges.
Mothercare and Early Learning Centre staff also launched successful cause-related marketing products, including the 'Born to Care' clothing range, and supported national campaigns such as the ‘I Want To Be…’ Challenge and Christmas Jumper Day.
