Being there for children in Conflict
Clifford Chance has been a key supporter of children caught up in and fleeing war and conflict since 2012, helping to ensure we can be among the first to respond when children need us most and have supported the Nepal earthquake, the Ebola crisis, and the continuing East Africa Food Crisis.
In 2016, Clifford Chance provided vital pro bono and financial support to help us to procure, equip, and launch a Search and Rescue Vessel to save the lives of children fleeing conflict, poverty, and persecution across the Mediterranean Sea.
In 2017, Clifford Chance pledged £200,000 towards the Child Refugee Crisis Appeal, helping to fund our psychological first aid programme for refugee children in Berlin. This programme is providing invaluable psychological support to children who have lived through harrowing experiences before leaving their homes, or have suffered violence and exploitation along the routes they are forced to flee.
Clifford Chance provides pro bono legal support for our offices around the world.
