The Build-A-Bear Workshop campaign offered customers in-store the chance to purchase a purple heart to go inside their bear for £1, or to donate at the checkout to Save the Children.
The campaigns were launched in the UK, USA and Canada and the money raised helped children and their families cope with frightening or traumatic events they have experienced by building their natural resilience and strengthening their social support networks, through our Journey of Hope programme.
In two years, the partnership raised over £136,000 in the UK helping us deliver the Journey of Hope programme nationwide, including to the victims of the London and Manchester attacks.
