Make Change From Home

Supporting children to learn and take action

We know you want to support your children to learn from home – but home schooling is a new challenge for all of us. That’s why we’ve adapted our schools campaigning resources to be used at home. These activities were originally designed to be delivered by teachers, but now students can follow them working solo, or team up with friends or classmates to work together.

These resources are perfect for English, Geography, History and Citizenship students – or any young people who are interested in the world around them.

We’ve included a recommended age range for each activity, but they can easily be adapted for younger children too.

Together Everywhere Paper Chains

Have a ‘crafty’ time with this creative action, making links with children across the world and talking about how to create a positive future for all. Suitable for all ages.

Children's rights, conflict, and campaigning

These resources will help young people learn about conflict and its impact on children's rights, as well as campaigning. Great for Geography and Citizenship students. Suitable for ages 12-18.

UNDERSTANDING AID

These resources will engage young people with aid and the UK’s role in international development. Great for Geography, International Relations and Politics students. Suitable for ages 12-18.

JUSTICE FOR ROHINGYA CHILDREN

Resources to support your children to get involved with the campaign for justice for Rohingya children. Suitable for all ages.

Are you a teacher, or someone leading virtual learning sessions for larger groups of students? Have a look at our original resources designed to be delivered in the classroom.
