The 2.6 Challenge

Be a stay-at-home hero. Take on the 2.6 Challenge and help children around the world

We'd normally be getting ready to cheer on our London Marathon runners right about now. But the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic means that so many events - raising such important funds for children - can't go ahead this year.

But by taking on the 2.6 Challenge, you can still make a difference for children around the world.

What Is The 2.6 Challenge?

The 2.6 Challenge kicks off on Sunday 26 April. It's a nationwide event that you can do anywhere - including your own home.

The challenge can be anything you like - as long as it's got the number 26 in it! All you need to do is dream up an activity, donate or fundraise with us, and smash your challenge, starting Sunday 26 April

We've already heard some wonderful ideas:

  • holding a plank for 2.6 minutes
  • pledging to run/cycle 2.6 miles as your daily exercise
  • hosting a virtual workout with 26 friends

Whatever you do, make sure you follow government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.

How Do I Pay In?

You can donate or fundraise for us via JustGiving. Once you've set up a fundraising page, don't forget to share it on social media with the hashtag #TwoPointSixChallenge

Why Save the Children?

Flavianna and her son Daniel, 4, play inside a homemade tent in their living room, Manchester.

By choosing to support Save the Children, you're helping children in the UK around the world reach their full potential. The money you raise will make sure children are safe, healthy and learning, so they can grow up to be whoever they want to be.
