Terms & Conditions

  1. By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

  2. The Promoter is The Save the Children Fund a company limited by guarantee in England and Wales (178159) and a registered charity in England & Wales (213890), Scotland (SC039570) and Isle of Man (199) with registered office 1 St John’s Lane, London, EC1M 4AR. 

Eligibility

  1. All UK workplaces and schools are eligible to enter. This prize draw is open to bona fide UK-based workplaces and educational institutions only. Entries from individuals are not eligible. Entries from Youth Groups are not eligible. Save the Children reserves the right to request proof of eligibility (e.g. organisational email address or other verification) and to disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes is not a genuine workplace or school. 

  2. Registrants entering on behalf of a school or workplace must be 18 years or over. 

  3. One entry is permitted per school/workplace. 

  4. Registrants entering on behalf of a school must sign up under the ‘School / Youth Group / Nursery’ category in order to be entered. 

  5. Registrants entering on behalf of a workplace must sign up under the ‘Work’ category in order to be entered.  

  6. In order to facilitate inclusion into the correct prize draw, schools should include their setting type (e.g. Nursery, Primary, Secondary) in their school name. 

Judging

  1. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible schools and workplaces registrations that are submitted between 00:00 on 15th June 2026 and 23:59 on Monday 1st December 2026. 

Entry Requirements

  1.  Registrants must sign up for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day by filling out the form at https://jumpers.savethechildren.org.uk/#signup and correctly selecting either ‘School/Youth Group/Nursery’ or ‘Work’ when prompted. 

  2. Schools and workplaces that register after this cut-off will not be eligible.  

  3. The prize draw opens at 00:00 on 15th June 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Monday 1st December 2026. 

The Winner

  1. For schools, there will be 3 winners of the prize draw: 1 secondary school, 1 primary school and 1 nursery. 

  2. For workplaces, there will be 1 winner of the prize draw.  

  3. The Promoter reserves the right to reward additional winners at a later date. 

  4. The winner will be notified by the email used to register within 21 calendar days of the prize draw closing date. If a prize winner does not respond/accept the prize within 21 calendar days from notification, that winner will forfeit the prize and another winner will be pulled at random and notified. After 30 calendar days from the date the other winner is notified, if no winner has accepted the prize, we will consider the unclaimed prize a donation that belongs to Save the Children UK to use or reallocate in its complete discretion. 

  5. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. 

     

Prize

  1. The prize for nurseries is a visit to the Day Out with Thomas attraction for up to 30 children plus 4 teachers/chaperones. Full day visit including admission, lunch for all attendees and parking, where required. Reasonable group/coach travel to and from the attraction is included. Overnight accommodation is not included. Redeemable during the 2027 Day Out with Thomas event season, subject to participating attraction dates and availability. Advance booking is required. The prize can be redeemed at any Day Out with Thomas attraction in the UK selected by the winner (subject to availability).  

  2. The prize for primary schools is a visit to Drayton Manor theme park for up to 30 children, plus 3 teachers/chaperones. Full day visit including admission to Drayton Manor Resort and Thomasland, lunch for all attendees and parking, where required. Reasonable group/coach travel to and from Drayton Manor Resort is included. Overnight accommodation is not included. Redeemable during 2027, subject to Drayton Manor Resort opening dates, capacity, and availability. Advance booking is required.  

  3. The prize for secondary schools is 1 x 3-hour, in-person, stem-focused Hot Wheels workshop from a Mattel designer, for up to 60 secondary school students, plus appropriate school staff. To take place during 2027 on a mutually agreed school day, subject to Mattel designer availability and advance scheduling. This prize will require the school to provide a suitable space, a projector and screen, reliable power access, and any other presentation facilities agreed with Mattel in advance. 

  4. The prize for workplaces is a visit to F1 Arcade, including the F1 Arcade experience and food, for up to 15 employees. Reasonable return travel for up to 15 attendees is included. Overnight accommodation is not included. The exact package and timings will be confirmed at booking, subject to availability. Redeemable during 2027 at the F1 Arcade in either London or Birmingham selected by the winner, subject to advance booking and venue availability.  

  5. No cash alternative can be substituted for any of these prizes. 

  6. Prizes are non-transferable without the Promoter’s permission. 

  7. The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the prize components is conditional upon compliance by the winner with these rules. The winning entrant may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the prizes.

     

General

  1. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winners if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall the Promoter be liable to the winner for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this prize draw and/or the prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of the Promoter. 

  2. The Promoter reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these terms and conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted here. 

  3. As a condition of entering the prize draw, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The Promoter will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the prize draw unlawfully. 

  4. Schools and workplaces may be asked to participate in publicity by the Promoter.  

  5. We are obliged to make the details of the winner available if requested. We will therefore use the winning school/workplace names and country to compile this list. If you object to your data being used in this way, please contact [email protected] . Please note that the Promoter must still provide the winners' information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Agency on request even if you object to such information being shared more widely. 

  6. The details of the winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promoter within 30 calendar days from the relevant closing date. 

  7. This prize draw and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
