If you identify as trans or non-binary, know that you can be your authentic self at Save the Children

As LGBT+ History Month draws to a close, Save the Children UK adopts its first-ever Trans Inclusion Policy

Ammara Khan, Diversity & Inclusion Director, said:

“I’m delighted that Save the Children UK has introduced this robust policy, designed to address discrimination head-on and help create the conditions for a truly diverse, inclusive and supportive workplace for all.

“Our new Trans Inclusion Policy sets out a clear commitment to trans equality, rejecting infringements on the rights of trans and non-binary people and putting clear provisions in place to support trans and non-binary staff members to live authentically at work, including support to help them transition should they need it.

“If you identify as trans or non-binary, please know: if you ever consider working for Save the Children UK, you will be welcomed here, you will be supported, and we will stand alongside you, because trans rights are human rights.”
