Spring is a time of new beginnings, new plans, and new ways of thinking.
Millions of children still face the crippling pain of hunger and malnutrition.
And while immediate relief is essential, children deserve more than the basics to keep them alive.
It’s a problem we’ve been tackling for years. But, with your support today, change is possible.
We’ve seen families escape hunger for good. But how?
By supporting/training families – and farmers – to produce crops that grow even in drought. By helping families grow breakfast, lunch and dinner from their own backyards. By setting up seed banks, fish farms, food-pantries and more!
Be part of this moment of change.
Together, we can stop hunger from getting a foothold in children's lives.
Your generosity can go beyond immediate relief. Because the best change isn’t a quick fix, it’s a total transformation.
Children deserve more than the basics to keep them alive. They deserve healthy, delicious food, day in, day out.
With your help we can make that happen. Will you join us?
Meet Cosmas and Evie

Mary, her son Cosmas, 10, and daughter Evelin, two, outside their home in Balaka district, Malawi.
"After Evie was born, I was so happy," says Cosmas, 10, about his little sister. He loves looking after her, making sure she’s fed and ready for school.
But when Cosmas was her age, life was very different. As a baby, he was malnourished – his family simply didn’t have enough food. "There was no Maziko back then," his mother, Mary, recalls.
Now, thanks to Save the Children’s Maziko programme, families like theirs can grow their own food and access the essentials they need. "Evie is healthy because she has porridge before school," Cosmas says proudly.
With their own crops to harvest and the means to buy essentials, the family no longer worries about where their next meal will come from. Instead of hunger holding him back, Cosmas is looking ahead – to school, to opportunity, to a future full of possibility.
With the right support, hunger doesn’t have to be a child’s future.
Will you help more children like Cosmas and Evie today?
Meet Keira*

Keira*, 10 in her bedroom. She receives weekly activity packs from the Food Pantry - Smallshaw Hurst Children's Community
“It's very easy when I'm full, but very hard when I'm hungry.” says Keira*, 10, from Manchester. "I mostly failed everything when I was hungry."
With little to eat at home, concentrating in class was tough. But since her mum joined a food pantry – supported by Save the Children – Keira has proper meals, is trying new foods, and is doing better at school. "Now, I mostly pass everything. It's very easy when I'm full."
The food pantry has done more than just provide meals – it’s given families like Keira’s a sense of security and the chance to build healthier habits. With enough to eat, Keira can focus on what she loves, from reading her favourite books to playing football with friends.
A full stomach means a fair chance. With your help, we can support more food pantries and make sure no child goes hungry. Will you help today?
