Everything you need to start turning your gaming and streaming into fundraising events for Save the Children.

Why stream for Save the Children UK?

Every child has the right to learn.
Every child should have good food to fuel their bodies.
Every child should have medicine when they're sick.
For over 100 years, we've fought for a fairer world for children.

Together with families, supporters and partners, we work to help every child get the future they deserve.

Here are some ideas to inspire you:

  • Host a multiplayer tournament with your friends and followers.
  • Stream yourself playing the latest game releases.
  • Have a board game night with friends and broadcast it online.
  • Set donation milestones, such as dancing every time you reach a certain amount.
  • Engage your viewers with polls, incentives, and rewards to keep the excitement high.

1. Promote your stream

Make sure to tell your friends and followers about your stream. We've got social media graphics you can use to post on different channels.

Email us to get the social media assets.

2. Engage your audience

  • Use polls and challenges to involve your viewers in your gaming experience.
  • Use our helpful fundraising guide to add incentives on Tiltify which help show the impact of donations.
  • Make sure to thank your donors during your stream, so they feel appreciated.

All the money we raise will help Save the Children UK's projects to improve the lives of kids here in the UK and around the world.

If costs or needs change, we'll make sure the funds go where they're needed most to help the children and communities.

Streaming is a fun way to raise money, but it’s important to stay safe while doing it. Here are some of our tips:

  • Choose your privacy settings carefully to control who can see your activity and interact with you.
  • Be respectful and report any abusive behavior you encounter.
  • Never share personal details like your full name, address, or phone number.
  • If you don’t feel comfortable showing your face you could use a unique username and an avatar instead of personal photos.
  • Take breaks to stay refreshed and focused.
  • Be cautious and download only from legitimate sources to avoid scams and viruses.

Who We Are We:

We stop at nothing to ensure that every child has the chance to grow up healthy, educated, and safe. Together with supporters and fundraisers like you, we fund groundbreaking programs, provide essential support services, and advocate for children's rights worldwide. Your efforts help us reach the most vulnerable children and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Fundraising for Save the Children Gaming, streaming, and content creation can be a brilliant way to raise money to support children in need. By fundraising for us, you support our mission to give every child the best chance for a bright future. To ensure an enjoyable and safe experience while fundraising for Save the Children, we ask that you follow these guidelines to keep you, your viewers, and our community safe online.

Why Have We Made These Guidelines?

Keeping you, our supporters, your community, and the children and families we serve safe is important to us. As a children's charity, protecting and safeguarding children is at the heart of what we do. Our guidelines exist to keep you and our community safe when broadcasting. This means we ask that you agree to the following guidelines before starting your fundraising.

The small print

Save UK, Tiltify and JustGiving are separate organisations. You will need to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for your chosen fundraising platform.

Tiltify - Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

JustGiving - Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We aren’t able to promote events before they’ve happened – but we do use our social media platforms to celebrate fundraising successes.

Email us on fundraising@savethechildren.org.uk if you'd like to request a social media post  - we can't guarantee one but it's worth an ask! We'll need a photo, your social media handle and a brief summary of your fundraiser. If you're under 18, we'll need a parent / guardian over 18 to email us.

Spreading the word about your fundraising is much more successful when it comes from you, so we’ve created a handy guide to using social media to help you.
