Our work in Afghanistan
Save the Children has been supporting communities and protecting children's rights across Afghanistan since 1976.
Since August 2021, with partners, we've been responding to the increasing number of children in need across 16 provinces through:
- health programmes,
- nutrition and food programmes,
- education,
- child protection,
- shelter,
- water, sanitation and hygiene,
- and livelihoods support
