An online quiz is a fun way to get into the Christmas spirit from the comfort of your home. You could host a traditional pub quiz with multiple rounds and place people in teams by making breakout rooms. Christmas Jumper competition
Who has the best Christmas Jumper at your workplace? You could host a fashion show over Zoom or Teams, so everyone gets a chance to show theirs off, then ask people to vote for their favourite with an online poll! You could even offer a prize for the best jumper. There’s absolutely no need to splash out on a new jumper though – encourage your colleagues to dig out an old jumper, upcycle it, or buy a second-hand one from a charity shop (we have lots across the UK!) for the greenest Christmas Jumper Day ever. You could even have another prize for the most creatively upcycled jumper!
Spotting pets in the background of meetings has to be one of the best things about working remotely. Why not make them the stars of the meeting with a pet jumper competition?
Online Bake Off
If your team is feeling creative, why not bake together online? Set up laptops in kitchens and host a bake off. You could start by baking the cake in the morning, then decorating it at the end of the work day and vote on the best cake. You could even use our delicious Christmas Jumper cake recipe!
How to pay in your fundraising
Collecting your team's donations remotely couldn't be simpler. Once you've signed up for Christmas Jumper Day, you'll be sent a link to claim your JustGiving page - simply fill out the page with all your team's information, email the link out to everyone and watch your total rise as the donations come rolling in!
We also recommend setting up a team text code when you sign up, which will enable anyone with your chosen code to donate to Save the Children via SMS. Simply text your team text code to 70050 to donate £5. It's a quick and easy way for your team to add their contribution to your fundraising total.
