Can you guess what this is?

This is a Cassava root plant. It gets turned into flour and made into dough balls, and sometimes it’s the only food for many children in west Africa. Because it offers very little nutrients, these children face malnutrition.

When you’re malnourished, living through food shortages like the current one in west Africa, can be deadly. The lucky ones are treated by our team members, but not all of them are that fortunate.

The race against hunger today takes us to west Africa. Our teams are on the ground, saving lives. But we can’t do it without your support – please help us reach more children in west Africa by making a donation today. Thank you.
