Mary’s Living and Giving shop: a Primrose Hill arts trail

Our Mary’s Living and Giving shop, in Primrose Hill, will be part of an interactive arts trail called ‘Where Once I played…’ devised by the talented and thought-provoking artist Nina Mankin.

The exhibition will take place in 14 carefully selected shops along Regent’s Park Road, 10–18 September 2011.

Each shop will house a series of narrative sculptural installations providing hidden clues, nostalgic memories, and grown-up treasure maps.

Follow the trail and fill in the questionnaire for the chance to win one of five pieces of Nina Mankin’s art.

Search for keys along the trail to give you access to a private musical performance at a secret location. (Be quick, there are only 15 keys!)

Our Primrose Hill shop will be transformed into a world of tailors, dressmakers, textiles, and clothing.

The shop is of significant importance to the trail, having once housed the beautiful textiles of Nina’s father, Ian Mankin — one of the main reasons for Nina’s exploration of her childhood.

You can pick up a map and questionnaire in store prior to the event, or for further information and to see more of Nina’s work, please visit www.ninamankin.co.uk, or contact the Primrose Hill shop on 020 7586 9966.

A percentage of all sales will go towards Save the Children’s life-saving work.
