The Palace

Today I have been to Buckingham Palace. That is one sentence I never thought I’d say but impossible things happening seemed to be the theme for our presentation concerning the Young People’s board today. A few years ago not many people would have imagined that a charity would be so concerned with children’s views but now Lydia, Gareth and I were doing a speech about exactly what we wanted the trustees and the donors to do for ourselves and the young people in the country. Surprisingly I wasn’t that nervous about my speech because I was there with two other young people and there wasn’t very much time to hang around and be scared. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and I thought it was incredibly worthwhile.
