Start-up of Youth group in South Africa(Musina)

Musina is a small town on the border of South Africa and Zimbabwe.like many small rural towns there is very little for young people to do.Save the Children established a childrens Advisory Council to gather young people together so that there voices could be heard by authorities in Musina.

Out of thise Council me and Polite Singo were chosen to represent South Africa on the Global Chidrens Panel,sinne returning from the panel in London me and Polite were very keen to progress some of their ideas.

In thise last couple of weeks,representatives from CAC based in Musina have gathered for three hours to workshorp how they could go about improving the lives of young people in Musina rather than waiting for orthers to help us.

OUR VISION IS TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE TO THR COMMUNITY IN MUSINA THROUGH YOUTH PARTICIPATION AND GROUTH AND OUR OBJECTIVES IS TO DEVALOPING LEADERS OF THE FUTURE,SHARPENING YOUNG PEOPLES MINDS POSITIVELY,REDUCE THE YOUTH CRIME RATES,ADDRESING YOUNG PEOPLES ISSUES DIRECTLY TO THE AUTHORITIES.ISSUES TO BE TACKLED ARE 1.TEENAGE PRAGNANCY.2.DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE.3.CHILD LABOUR.CAREER GUIDANCE.
