Reckitt Benckiser Global Challenge

This is my last day in the office before the trek. 

I haven’t felt this unique combination of terror and excitement since my son was born 18 years ago. Similar to childbirth, I’ve had 9 months to plan for this adventure and I’m prepared to “expect the unexpected”. Any women who has every had a baby knows that they are constantly asked “when’s your “due date?”. Its been the same with the trek. For the past 9 months countless people have asked me “when are you leaving?”. My answer was always “not until May 26th” which seemed so far away.  Today I am saying “Tuesday” as the butterflies flutter around in my stomach! 

I can’t wait to meet all my fellow trekkers and of course the children of Ladakh.
