Only 2 days to go until we leave for India!

I can’t believe it’s only two days to go until we leave for India.  Things are really hotting up with all the preparations – hope we’ve got everything sorted for all our trekkers.  I’ve been getting lots of emails from them all telling me what they are bringing for the kids (following my very last minute request for pens, pencils, colouring books etc) and it’s fantastic to see the response.

Just trying to get myself packed – I’m known for taking everything but the kitchen sink with me (including hairdryer and hairstraighteners obviously) and I am really really trying to take only the essentials – not easy!!

There’s so much to look forward to; first stop for us is to visit the Child Domestic Workers programme in Calcutta that we supported as part of the first Global Challenge.  I can’t wait to see the children again and also the amazing team of Save the Children India.

Now – back to that packing…… is one mascara sufficient…..?
