Half Marathon for Save the Children
On 11th October I will be attempting the Royal Parks Half Marathon in order to raise as much money as possible for Save the Children – as part of the 2007 RB Global Challenge I visited some of their Children’s projects in India & have seen first-hand the fantastic work that they do, although this event is going to be an enormous personal challenge it will be worth it if it means more children will benefit.
I have just a few more weeks to turn myself into some kind of athlete and your donations will certainly help to keep my motivation up. Thanks in advance for anything you can give, I really appreciate your kind support and just a small amount can make a big difference.
You can donate securely using the link below – UK taxpayers using this site will also have an additional gift-aid amount added at no cost

Have been back in training again following a brief rest a couple of weeks ago, after damaging both my knees – I guess the sudden burst of activity was too much for them! The rest & anti-inflammatories seem to have worked and I’m continuing to make good progress. The strict diet regime has also started to pay dividends with a bit of lost weight (3.5kg in last month) but salad every day is no fun!
Looking forward to a nice pie with chips and gravy after the race…!
