G20 summit – How to put children on world leaders’ agenda

It’s not just big business that needs help in these hard times. Children from Kroo Bay, a slum in Freetown, Sierra Leone, have told us of the impact of rising food prices in their community. And mother’s like Sunkari are losing the struggle to save their children from preventable diseases for lack of money.

Saving children’s lives is affordable. The Prime Minister must use his influence to persuade G20 leaders to honour the promises they’ve made to the poorest countries. This will be key to an economic recovery that benefits rich and poor countries alike.
