Exercise, nature and learning

Go for a walk with a journey stick, collecting items as you go. When you get home recount what you saw.

  1. Find a long stick
  2. Walk (safely) around your nearby area. This may be a local park or similar
  3. Collect up materials as you go. Items such as leaves, feathers, acorns etc
  4. Using string, tie your items to the stick in the order you found them
  5. When you've finished your walk, recount what you found and where - can you remember where you found all your items?
