Recent figures showed that child poverty has fallen in Scotland, in contrast with the rest of the UK. This shows that measures like the Scottish Child Payment are working. But the Scottish Government still missed its interim child poverty target - and poverty in families with a baby increased. To meet the legally binding 2030 child poverty target, we need to see bold action, including investing in social security.
