Ealing Green

Mary's Living & Giving Shop

Our Ealing Green shop opened in 2013 and was designed by Royal College of Art (RCA) interior design students Naomi Grieve and Flett Bertram. It's inspired by the wonderful donations given to charity shops on a daily basis.

About our store

The interior incorporates eye-catching, ergonomic shelving using layers of colourful textiles with a hint of glamour, created by emulating the aesthetic of high end boutiques.

At the grand opening, visitors browsed brands including Issa London, Barbour, Martin Margiela, Prada, Weston Designs and Whistles, all readily available at bargain prices.

A sought-after vintage rail also had pride of place, where shoppers were surprised by some brilliant finds.

Interim Head of Mary’s Living & Giving Shops, Terence Lovell said,

“The local residents have already embraced us and made us so welcome. Working with the talented students at RCA has been a pleasure, and their unique design makes this shop extra special.

“We continue to be thrilled with the fantastic response to our Mary’s Living & Giving Shops and we really want to encourage the community in Ealing Green to get involved as much as they can, be it volunteering in the shop or looking through their wardrobes or bookshelves to bring along any great donations.

“Every penny we make in our shops goes to the vital work that we do at Save the Children: saving children’s lives here in the UK and abroad."
