'Rolling back on climate policies is a betrayal of children's futures', Save the Children says

Responding to the Prime Minster considering weakening key climate policies. Shruti Agarwal, Save the Children’s Senior Adviser on Climate Change and Sustainable Economies said:

“Rolling back on climate policies is a betrayal of children's futures. It exposes the Prime Minister’s supposed ambition to make the UK a place ‘we all want it to be for our children’ as mere lip service.

“The UK government is already falling short on climate targets on nearly every front. Children in the UK and across the world tell us they know their future depends on bold action now. The time for half measures is long past. There is no planet B.”
