You should have received an email confirmation when you registered. If you haven’t received this, please email or call 020 7012 6400 as your email address might have been entered incorrectly. Please also check your junk mail, as sometimes our automated emails filter into this mail box.

Please let us know if you’re no longer able to take part by emailing Unfortunately we can't defer your place in an event. Refunds for charity place registration fees are only issued within 7 days of registering, but we can't refund your registration fee after you’ve confirmed your place with the race organisers. If you have your own place in the event through the race organisers, you'll need to check their refund policy which you should be able to find on their website or on your registration confirmation.

In order to confirm your charity place in a race, you'll need to confirm your details with the race organisers. As a participant in the event, you'll need to agree to their terms and conditions and let them know you’re running with a charity place. If you don't complete this second stage of the registration process by the specified deadline, you won't able to take part on the day. This second part to the registration process is at no extra cost.

The race pack containing your race number will be sent by the event organisers. Please visit the FAQs section on the event organiser’s website for more details. We'll send a separate race pack containing your exclusive Save the Children running vest/cycling jersey, if you have given us your size. If you haven’t given us your top size (S,M,L,XL), email us at

Unfortunately, we're only a small team and can't get to every event our supporters take part in. If we're attending the event, we'll let you know where we'll be on the day, 6 weeks before event day. Your friends and family are welcome to join us! If we can't make your event and you’d like some cheering gear to give to your supporters, please email – we’d be more than happy to send this out to you!

Absolutely! We’d love all our Save the Children fundraisers to wear our top on the day. If you let us know you’re fundraising for us by setting up an online fundraising page, we may not know your top size - and without that we can't send you one! We might be operating a waiting list for the event, please contact to find out. But if the race organisers have closed charity entries ready to send out the race packs, we won't be able to add you to the list.

There are lots of easy ways to fundraise for an event! We recommend starting by setting up an online fundraising page with Virgin Money Giving – it’s quick and easy to do! Social fundraising events like cake sales, pub quizzes and office sweepstakes are also great for helping you reach your target. We’d be more than happy to talk through some ideas with you and you’ll get more information in your fundraising pack we email to you. But if you just can't wait, check out our top fundraising ideas.

There are a number of ways to get your donations to us. You can:

  • Pay in your fundraising via your online fundraising page (you won’t be able to claim Gift Aid on this if you’re donating on behalf of others).
  • Post a cheque made payable to Save the Children (quoting your Supporter Number and fundraising challenge) to: Challenge Events, Save the Children, 1 St John’s Lane, London, EC1M 4AR
  • Call our friendly Support Team on 020 7012 6400 to pay by credit or debit card over the phone

You can set up a team fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving following the steps on their website. We recommend that you set up an individual page which links to this team page so we can clearly identify any funds that have been raised on your behalf. But if you're fundraising with one or more person(s) on the same fundraising page, please let us know by emailing

You'll need to get your own place in the event through the race organisers. Please visit their website to sign up. Once you have your place, we’d still love to have you on the team – any amount you could raise would be fantastic!
