I'm the Child Protection Director for the Myanmar programme. I've been in the child rights/protection sector for a little over a decade now—the last 7-8 years in south Asia. My work has focused on developing child protection projects, including proposals, strengthening community-based and systems approaches to mitigating child protection issues and child rights violations as well as supporting learning and impact and advocacy initiatives. The child protection portfolio in Myanmar is a big and challenging one: I am excited about the potential for strengthening and advancing these programmes and hope to tell you a little bit about it through this blog.
