Margiotta Food and Wine

Since 2000, we’ve had the pleasure of unwavering support and commitment from a family-run chain of local shops in Edinburgh, Margiotta Food and Wine. The owner, Franco Margiotta, has been running the shops for the past 50 years and has chosen Save the Children as the company’s sole charity partner for the past 21 years.

Margiotta Food and Wine have been donating the 5p charge on plastic bags since 2010 to Save the Children and have been collecting customer change at their tills since the beginning of the partnership. They are a brilliant ally to have when it comes to supporting our emergency appeals and fundraising campaigns, including Christmas Jumper Day, which has enabled the partnership to raise over £180,000 to date.
