Over a hundred years ago, Eglantyne Jebb stood before a crowd in London and declared:
“Surely it is impossible for us, as normal human beings, to watch children starve to death without making an effort to save them.”
Her words sparked a global movement. Today, we at Save the Children UK continue her legacy.
Our vision is clear: A world where every child is thriving, heard and valued, and hopeful for a more just, equal and sustainable future.
Our mission is not changing: In the UK and around the world, we will advance children’s rights and power by working with partners to design solutions and tackle the biggest problems facing children.
What does change is how we deliver: We know that true, lasting change can only happen if we work together, sharing power and resources to build a more just and equal world. Over the next few years, our vision for children will be our compass, guiding every decision we make.
Our 25-27 strategy – our three-year masterplan for creating lasting change for children – is the first stage toward achieving our vision for children.
