East Africa's hunger crisis is not the only deadly threat facing children today.

1 billion children live in countries at extreme risk of climate change. Meanwhile, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic is still being felt for many children and families. And 426 million children worldwide are affected by conflict. 

There’s no doubt these figures are shocking. Unfortunately, when crisis trikes, children suffer the most. Our monthly givers are the backbone of our work.

They help us take children out of harm’s way. We’ve supported children through tough global challenges with  health, protection, education, food, water, and shelter, for over 100 years.

Dmytrus* and Sasha* fled Ukraine for their lives. Eventually waiting in sub zero temperatures for 15 hours to cross into Romania. The siblings received care at one of our distribution centres. Our emergency team helped them with food, water, blankets and children’s toys.
