Our powerful Most Shocking Second A Day video is a reminder that just because the horror isn't happening here at home, doesn't mean it isn't happening.
A global crisis
Since the brutal conflict in Syria began seven years ago, more than 2.3 million children have had to flee the country. A generation of children have lost everything they know: their homes, their education – sometimes even their families.
Inside Syria, more than a quarter of a million children are living under siege. In these areas, children and babies are dying due to a lack of healthcare and are forced to eat leaves and animal feed due to a lack of food.
How you can help Syrian children
Our teams are inside Syria giving children the basics they need to survive.
We are also in Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt providing child refugees and their families with urgent relief as well as education and psychological support.
In Europe we are working along the routes that refugees take providing food, shelter and warm clothes.
But we desperately need your support to help more children.
