  • We’re giving families food and electronic vouchers and cash to buy food, medicines and other essential supplies in case they are trapped or forced from their homes.
  • We’re delivering healthcare through 97 fixed health facilities and 15 mobile health teams, treating sick and injured children, responding to disease outbreaks and screening and treating children for malnutrition.
  • We’ve been preparing for a potential cholera outbreak - stocking hospitals with essential medical supplies, including antibiotics and rehydration salts.
  • We’re running awareness campaigns on hygiene and sanitation issues, rehabilitating water points, and distributing essential hygiene items to prevent the risk of an outbreak.
  • We’re providing psychosocial support in Child Friendly Spaces, giving children a safe space to learn, play and receive specialist psychosocial support to overcome the horrors of living in a conflict zone.
