How your donations can help

The COVID-19 pandemic threatens an unfair future for children, through every skipped meal, every missed school day, every undelivered vaccination.

We have to act now. Don't take the future for granted.

Your support means we can help children in the UK and around the world grow strong, learn and survive.

  • £39 could buy handwashing kits to help protect against COVID-19
  • £85 could provide a malnourished child with a month of medicine and therapeutic food at an outpatient clinic
  • £188 could pay for a temporary learning centre in Afghanistan to ensure kids don’t miss out on their education.

Devastating for Children

As coronavirus spreads, it's hitting the world's most vulnerable families hardest. Despite the incredible progress with vaccines, the pandemic's impact is worsening.

Unless we act now, millions will go hungry, miss out on life-changing education and lack life-saving healthcare.

Every child needs good food to grow up strong. Every child needs the chance to learn. Every child needs basic jabs to survive.

Make a promise to never take the future for granted.

Children washing their hands in Indonesia

With the help of our supporters, Save the Children has been helping children survive and flourish for more than 100 years.

At the onset of the pandemic last year we launched one of our biggest ever responses; from life-saving COVID treatment centres and providing PPE in Yemen to providing medical information and running health facilities in Bangladesh.

And here in the UK, we have our emergency grants which have helped over 10,000 children, supplying learning packs, food vouchers, household items, gifts in kind and Argos vouchers.

Other ways to donate

Last year we reached 16.4m people, of which 7.7m were children.

And your donation could help us to provide vital support to even more children both in the UK and across the world.
