Save the Children and IKEA: the Soft Toys for Education campaign
By Hiliary Jenkins, Corporate Partnerships, Save the Children
Save the Children and the IKEA Foundation believe that education is the most powerful and effective way to help children escape poverty.
Thanks to the Soft Toys for Education campaign, Save the Children is currently operating programmes in 10 countries to help give disabled children and children from minority groups hope for a better future.
Bringing joy to your family and hope to a child
So while you are picking up an adorable Christmas gift for family and friends you’ll also be helping a child fulfil their potential with access to a quality education.
If that’s not a dose of Christmas magic, what is?
This year, to launch this campaign here in the UK, we enlisted the help of some special friends. Six talented celebrities lent their voices to some of our favourite soft toys to help tell the stories of children whose lives have been positively affected by our partnership.
Listen to their stories and learn more about our partnership.
There are 64 toys to choose from in our fairy tale-inspired collection and prices start at just 80p.
They’re available online, so it couldn’t be easier to pick yours out and help give a child their very own ‘happily ever after’.
