Experts project an increase in the frequency and severity of natural disasters and climate change. We know these will have an adverse effect on children. Despite this, we rarely hear from children themselves, and particularly not children from poor communities.
We believe children should be seen as actors in the impact of climate change on their lives, rather than solely victims. Policy makers and local authorities need to listen to children and see them as part of the future solutions.
This book is a collection of children’s stories and statements about disasters and climate change and their thoughts on how to do something about it.
