Since 2006, we've worked on raising the profile and status of nutrition in DFID's policies and programmes. We wanted concrete commitments from both DFID and the European Commission to tackle chronic malnutrition .
Specifically, we aimed for the following three outputs:
- increased nutrition research and monitoring of nutrition programmes
- acknowledgement from developing country governments that nutrition must be prioritised
- to inform the wider child survival campaign with high-quality hunger-related input
This paper evaluates how successful our efforts have been.
