Comprehensive Peace? looks at the historical and other factors behind rising tensions in the eastern Sudan region.

It argues that international aid, if used appropriately, could really help to mitigate these tensions.

It concludes with a list of recommendations for action in three key areas: humanitarian, development and peace-building issues.

This research report was commissioned by six organisations to inform their programming in the region.
