This illustrated book is part of a series that introduce primary school children to the lives of other children around the world. All five of the books explore the impact of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child and through first-hand accounts look at how children’s rights are becoming a reality.

All children — whether they are poor, orphaned, affected by conflict or living on the streets — have the right to a good home. This book looks at how all children need a home where they belong and where people love them and look after them. Sarandra from Kosovo tells how she had to leave her home due to heavy fighting and how sad it was to see it damaged by war. Other children tell their stories about their homes.
