"Energy price drops will be welcome news for families struggling to keep their homes warm. But for children living in poverty, a five per cent decrease doesn’t go far enough. We need to see targeted help for them.

Energy companies have not funded the government’s fuel bill discount scheme properly, meaning just 25,000 families will get help with their bills when 800,000 should. They need to put the millions needed into the Warm Homes Discount scheme now - that's the best way to make sure children don't pay the price for high energy bills."
