School's out for summer, but not for Madlyn

Although schools are on holiday Madlyn is attending summer school. She wants to be fully prepared for the new school year that starts in September.  

Madlyn's been promoted to a new class. She says 'it's tough but I like my new teacher, Uncle Aiah. He doen't use the cane. Instead he talks to you when you do something wrong.' 

Rain stops school

Madlyn adds, ‘I have lots of fun with my friends at the summer school. But when it rains heavily I can't get to school.'
