My favourite football teams
I support Barcelona but in England I support Manchester. Eto’o is my favourite player, he is an attacker from Cameroon.
I also like to run and I like to make kites. I like to sing, I sing traditional songs and we sing carol music in school.My school
My school is up on the hill from Kroo Bay. I like studying - especially reading and maths. My least favourite subject is drawing. I can draw, but I don’t like to draw.
I love maths because when my mother brings things home from the market I can do the sums and make sure nothing is stolen or goes missing.
My best friend
My best friend is Muhammed. We collect scrap metal together, play football together and talk and play together. I go to the river to find scrap metal every evening and at the weekends. I find it to sell so I can buy food.
The biggest problem in Kroo Bay is that the water is dirty. We get sick and people die. Dirty water enters our homes during the rains. I’m happy when I wake up in the morning. When I go to bed I pray for a long life and good health – and that’s why I’m happy when I wake up.

Hi Bilal. This is Max and Ed. We love sports but mostly cricket and footbal. In cricket we both support England and in football Max supports Chelsea FC and Ed supports Manchester United FC. Ed is better in Cricket but Max is better in football were very sorry that u have to go through this badness we hope you have thing going as you want.

Hi Bilal. It's James and Tommie. James supports Manchester United and Barcelona. My favourite player is Rooney for Barcelona. Tommie supports Chelsea. The best player is Drogba and Lampard and James likes maths too.

You sound like a really amazing person Bilal. I love football too and am captain of the girls team. I think if you were here in Surrey, England (I go to boarding school) then I think we would definitely be friends. :) Keep studying and see you in the championships!

I think the people of Kroo Bay have been neglected for too long, and it's about time Sierra Leones living abroad come to their aid.
I spent a good portion of my childhood and adult days down at Kroo Bay. Athough things then were not as tough as they are now, the people of Kroo Bay were generally kind hearted, sweet, and friendly.
Most of them knew me as the actor and commedian "Dandogo" of the Professionals, and a part and parcel of their community.
