What donors say

Our aim is to give philanthropists a hugely rewarding experience. But don't take our word for it - here is what some of our major donors have to say about working with us.

Philanthropy - Nepalese children outside of their rebuilt schoolAfter the earthquake in Nepal, the school that these children attended collapsed. We helped to create a temporary learning centre where the school was, so that they didn't miss out in vital education.

"Helping Save the Children is not just about the current crisis, children need consistent support in many parts of the world. I never 'ear mark' my donations to a specific cause as I know Save the Children will use the money where it is most needed." Mary Sue

Throughout my career I have been involved in a number of emerging markets, including in Africa, and it was clear to me that Save the Children's education work in Africa is an important initiative. My 17-year-old daughter and I are looking forward to visiting Malawi later this year to meet the staff, volunteers and communities involved in this initiative." Martin

"We've seen first hand the quality of work Save the Children does using high calibre local staff, motivated parents and children, and the local health and education authorities, making us all feel part of the team with them."  Barry and Dorothee
