We've been campaigning for years to make education a reality for children all over the world. Now we're supporting 1GOAL, the campaign to get 72 million people to take action for the 72 million children around the globe who don't have the chance to go to school.
These children could be our next generation’s leaders, sports stars, doctors and teachers. But they face a lifelong struggle against poverty.
It doesn’t have to be this way. A child born to a mother who can read is 50% more likely to survive past the age of five. Education beats poverty — and gives people the tools to help themselves.
