How can I fundraise for you?
We’re delighted that you want to want to fundraise for us! From marathons to cake competitions to silly sports days, we have lots of fundraising ideas for you.
Once you’ve got a fundraising idea, register your event to access our resources and make your event a big success.

Can I fundraise for you by doing a sponsored walk, marathon or other event?
Can I raise money for your emergency response teams specifically?
Yes, you can. Make it clear on your online fundraising page what you are raising money for, and make sure to let us know if you pay in your fundraising by phone or by cheque.

Can Gift Aid be claimed on the funds I raise?
If you set up an online fundraising page, your donors will be prompted to fill in the Gift Aid details on their individual donation.
Please encourage your sponsors to complete their Surname, Initial and full address on your sponsorship form if they would like their donation to be Gift Aided.
Can I use your logo?
If you’d like to use our logo as part of your fundraising for publicity or in any other way, please contact our Fundraising Team on 020 7012 6400 or firstname.lastname@example.org who will be able to help you.
What resources can I order?
Once you register your event you’ll be given the option to order resources such as collection tins and posters to support your fundraising.
We don’t charge for our resources because we want to help make your fundraising as successful as possible. But please do remember we’re a charity, so please only select the resources that you need - for example, the cost of 3 x T-shirts could buy blankets for 5 children!
Can I get more infomation about your work?
Yes. You can read about us or why not go to our YouTube channel to watch our latest films about the work that we do. Please do share these films with your friends, family and colleagues to encourage them to support your fundraising activities.
Can you promote my event on social media?
We aren’t able to promote events before they’ve happened – but we do use our social media platforms to celebrate fundraising successes.
Spreading the word about your fundraising is much more successful when it comes from you, so we’ve created a handy guide to using social media to help you.
Can I have a speaker come to my event?
Yes! We have a network of specially trained volunteer speakers who give talks and assemblies about the work that we do. You can request a speaker by contacting our fundraising team on 020 7012 6400 or email@example.com
Availability of speakers varies across the country, so get in touch at least three weeks before your event so we can do our best to send someone along. If there’s no one available to attend we can send films about our work instead.
Can I fundraise for you through a book or song?
Yes! There are two ways to do this, either by donating all of the money raised to us, or by donating proceeds or a percentage. Either way, contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 7012 6400.
Can I fundraise for you through my company or a product I have made?
If your company would like to get involved in other ways or you would like to donate a percentage of sales of a product towards our work, get in touch with Corporate Partnerships Team.
How do I pay in my fundraising?
The easiest way to pay in funds is to set up an online giving page. Funds raised this way come directly to Save the Children, so you don’t need to do anything else!
If you have collected money offline, contact our friendly Fundraising Team on 020 7012 6400 and they can take a card payment over the phone. Alternatively, complete this paying in form and send it with a cheque made out to ‘Save the Children’ to 1 St John’s Lane, London, EC1M 4AR.
Can I get a certificate?
Of course! We love to recognise the incredible achievements of our fundraisers and are very happy to send out personalised certificates. Request one by sending an email to email@example.com after you’ve paid in your fundraising.
