I'm Catherine, a midwife in Nigeria and I want you to help me save the lives of the 1 million babies who die, every year, on their first day. I love my job, but in Nigeria, like so many parts of the world, there simply aren't enough midwives. With your help, we can change this.

Every year 1 million babies around the world don't survive their first 24 hours.
Most of these lives could be saved if there were more midwives, like me, supporting newborn babies
For that to happen, the world needs more trained midwives.
It's not difficult: all it takes is political will to provide the funds to train and equip midwives. Your Prime Minister can spur world leaders to make this happen.

With your Prime Minister's support, we can ensure this becomes a reality.
But he’ll only be compelled to act if enough of us ask him to.
