Stop companies promoting baby milk

The National Childbirth Trust, Save the Children and UNICEF are asking the government to stop formula milk promotion in the UK

Wednesday 25 July 2007

Digital agency Codegent has designed a viral game for Save the Children to try to stop baby formula advertising in the UK.

Journalist and TV presenter Mariella Frostup provides voice-over in the 'Little Jack Strikes Back' game and animation. Users can also send the animation to friends' emails.

"We produced this online animation and game to get the public involved in our campaign to stop the promotion of baby milk formula in the UK. We hope this innovative way of inspiring people to take action and make themselves heard will reach everyone from young people to silver-surfers and force a change in the UK law," said Martin Kirk, Save the Children's Head of Campaigns and Advocacy.

The campaign is in association with The National Childbirth Trust and UNICEF.
