Racing legends and car-mad celebrities have joined forces with luxury watch brand TAG Heuer to create a limited edition photography book and a special racing event at Le Castellet Formula One test track. All proceeds will support Save the Children's recreational and sports projects around the world.

Racing drivers including Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, as well as celebrities like James Bond star Timothy Dalton and Olympic gold medallist Katarina Witt, are backing the project.

They all share the same traits: an addiction to fast cars, and a desire to give children access to sports and mobility around the world.

Jean-Christophe Babin, President and Chief Executive Officer of TAG Heuer, says, "Because such simple and natural things as laughing, having fun and achieving physical and mental excellence through developing self-confidence and a team spirit should be a right within reach of all children, TAG Heuer has committed itself to supporting Save the Children in its sports and play programmes."

Sports allow children to push themselves to the limit, but also to have fun. Along the way they can learn important values and skills, including self-confidence, teamwork, respect and fair play.

The photography book was unveiled on 26 June at a special TAG Heuer racing event at the Circuit Paul Ricard high tech test track in Le Castellet, south of France.
