That's largely from preventable causes like malaria, measles, cholera and diarrhoea. With your help we can provide free basic healthcare to vulnerable children and help them live past five.

£3 a month could help the world's poorest children get basic healthcare, including:

pyrethoid treated mosquito nets to prevent malaria
jabs against measles
sterile scissors and dressings

The Direct Debit Guarantee

This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that take part in the Direct Debit Scheme. The efficiency and security of the Scheme is monitored and protected by your own bank or building society.
If the amount to be paid or the payment dates change Save the Children will notify you normally 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
If an error is made by Save the Children or your bank or building society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.
You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your bank or building society. Please also send a copy of your letter to Save the Children.

Gift Aid contributions

Gift Aid allows Save the Children to claim tax back from HMRC on all your donations. For every £1 you give, they'll add an extra 25p from your taxes. It doesn't cost you a penny, and when you opt in below, all your gifts in the future will also be topped up with Gift Aid.
