Unaccompanied Minors Not Normally Dispersed

Unaccompanied children are not covered by the NASS scheme. They are supported by the local authority social services department. They are therefore not normally dispersed according to Home Office policy.

Unaccompanied minors turning 18 years of age whilst their claim is being processed should not be dispersed if they were previously provided support by a local authority.
