After traditional speeches by the local people and an emotional one from Sandra, the parade started: a brass band, dancers to Pink Floyd as well as Beethoven.
Our path went through grass, bushes and the vegetation was getting richer remebling more a tropical forest, the closer we came to the small rivers which cross the valley.

This week, the 64 RB employees from 33 different countries are arriving in Brazil for this year’s RB Global Challenge in aid of Save the Children. 31 of them landed here in Petrolina yesterday and the Community Challenge is well under way.
Save the Children staff join 65 Reckitt Benckiser employees from 33 countries to launch the company’s 2011 Global Challenge Initiative which hopes to raise £300,000 for our projects worldwide.
