What can Save the Children do to extend education to those children whose parents cannot pay? Education is the way out of poverty. Also, men and women should be paid, from the millions that were donated in the UK, to clear the rubble so that new housing can be built. How much longer can these people wait before anger and political unrest takes over?

What a great blog Charlotte. It sounds like the Haitian people are extraordinary, one can't help but admire their resilience.

Keep up the good work, really proud of what Save the Children as an organisation is doing in Haiti.

Also, as someone from Southern Africa who is absolutely elated that my continent successfully hosted the World Cup, I am really glad to hear that the tournement brought so much joy and celebration throughout the country. It makes me very proud to be African!!
